Simple Green Smoothie

Looking for an easy way to sneak in some extra greens in your week? We love making green smoothies as a way to get more greens in our diet, and our toddlers! Bonus points, this recipe is toddler approved! The recipe below is the base of our green smoothies. You can enjoy as is, as we often do, or you can additions like berries, protein powder, egg whites etc. You can also substitute whatever milk you would like. This recipe makes about 1 adult + 1 toddler serving, or 2 smaller servings. Adjust the ingredients as needed.



Ingredients

- 1 frozen banana

-1/2 to 3/4 cup milk

-1/2 cup whole milk plain greek yogurt

-2 large handfuls of baby spinach

- 2tbs nut butter, we most often use PB or AB

- couple tablespoons of water if needed to thin out the smoothie


Instructions

- place all ingredients into the blender and blend until smooth
